Hello!, my name is Lupita Gordum, I am originally from Yajalón, a city located in the northern mountain region of Chiapas.
I studied a Bachelor's Degree in Alternative Tourism at the Intercultural University of Chiapas (UNICH), because I like to carry out recreational activities in direct contact with nature and cultural expressions, I like to know, respect, enjoy and participate in the conservation of natural resources and cultural.
I have worked in different areas of culture, on social and natural issues.
I am currently a teacher at Escuela Tu Mundo, I love teaching and meeting many people-students from different parts of the world. I have knowledge and a lot of experience in teaching Spanish grammar classes for foreigners, from zero level to higher level. During my classes I like that students feel immersed in their learning.
I like to plan the class, work with books (reading and exercises), do conversation and comprehension practices, teach vocabulary, correct errors without discouraging the student.
And, every time there is a new student I am committed to teaching to help achieve the student's linguistic goals.
I am passionate about playing sports, reading books and occasionally watching movies.

Hello! My name is Valeria Vázquez and I have a degree in English Teaching from the Autonomous University of Chiapas (UNACH), language school campus III, speaker of the Spanish language as my mother tongue and as additional languages: English, Italian, and a basic level of German.
I currently live in the city of San Cristóbal, I have a lot of experience in teaching languages, I have a Master's Degree in Teaching from the Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IEP), with certifications: from the University of CAMBRIDGE: PET (PRELIMINARY ENGLISH TEST), FCE (FIRST CERTIFICATE IN ENGLISH) APTIS BY BRITISH COUNCIL.
In addition to a TKT (TEACHING KNOWLEPGE TEST) Band 3 in the 3 modules, a diploma in teaching English. As well as a seminar in English based on certifications to obtain a level of B1 and B2 in a foreign language.
I have taught English for more than 9 years and 4 years teaching Spanish to foreigners, I am a responsible, dynamic and patient teacher.

I am Gabi, I am 38 years old and I have lived in San Cristóbal for many years.
I have a bachelor's degree in English Teaching, and I have a master's degree in Education, I really like teaching and working with languages.
I am a patient person, I like to talk, learn about different cultures and share Spanish classes as much as possible. I have worked at different levels of education, but I like practical conversation the most.
My favorite sport is soccer and basketball, I really enjoy nature and being with my family and taking care of my dogs.

Profesor: Miguel Romero
Hello!, I am Miguel Ángel Romero, I am a Sociologist from the Autonomous University of Chiapas (UNACH) and I am studying a master's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Sciences and Arts of Chiapas (UNICACH). I am part of the team of researchers at the Center for Anthropological Studies of Gender, Sexuality and Ethnicity: Marinella Miano (CEAGSE-ENAH). As part of this working group, I have coordinated different programs, projects and colloquiums on sexuality, gender and youth.
I have been coordinator and workshop leader in different projects for the Program to Strengthen the Mainstreaming of the Gender Perspective (PFTPG), of INMUJERES and the Secretary of Gender Equality of Chiapas. The courses and seminars that I have taught are: “Training and monitoring of the Community Network for the Prevention of Violence against Indigenous Women” through the course “Tsatsal Ants, Píjil Ants” (Strong Women, Wise Women). Course, “ Train for the design and construction of indicators with a gender perspective in at least 10 agencies and/or entities of the state government. Seminar, “Train the State Public Administration for the application of the Protocol of Attention, Reaction and Coordination between Federal Authorities, State and Municipal in Case of Missing Women and Girls: Alba Protocol and Course, “Implement a mechanism for monitoring and evaluating complaints and reports of the Protocol to Prevent, Address and Punish Sexual Harassment and Harassment in the State of Chiapas. What was relevant about this training program for public servants was the initiative and later the creation of an Alba Protocol for the context of Chiapas.
I was also a Research Assistant at the Regional Directorate of the Center for Research and Higher Studies in Social Anthropology Southeast unit (CIESAS-Southeast). In which I coordinated different social and cultural projects in the state of Chiapas. Among his main publications are: “Urban youth creative practices: the appropriation of public spaces for skateboarding in San Cristóbal de Las Casas.” In the book Youth Art -rities Creative Practices and Cultural Agencies, at the University of Sciences and Arts of Chiapas. And territorial disputes in the Cuxtitali el Pinar ejido in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, in a context of the emergence of armed civil groups (2020-2023). In the Brazilian magazine ALTERA, in a special edition of anthropological dialogues between Brazil and Mexico.
For more than three years, and alongside social research in Chiapas, I have been a conversation and Spanish teacher for foreigners in different institutions in Chiapas, encouraging people who want to learn Spanish to improve their skills, expanding their vocabulary using more words. elaborated that are built along with the cultural contexts of Mexican Spanish.
Since speaking Spanish is a reason for travel and knowledge, given that students need to be motivated to use more sophisticated expressions in daily communication, to expand vocabulary, and thus develop oral skills on par with the social and cultural context of Mexico and Chiapas, from basic to higher level.
